Tips, Tricks, and Recipes for Frugal Living

You are one of two types of people right now: Either you’ve hit hard times in your life and your wallet is empty more often than not, or you’re a conscientious shopper and are looking for ways to reduce your footprint on the planet and also see the savings in your wallet at the same time.  Whichever you are, this course will help you!

Times have been rough lately.  You’re under-employed and under-paid, you’re having a hard time paying the bills, and putting food on the table for you or your kids has been a real struggle.

I’ve been there! I lived in that state for several years before finally managing to pull myself up with the help of a partner making more money than I was.  But in order to get through those hard times, I learned a LOT of tricks and skills to help give my kids a decent life.  I taught myself money-saving habits over 15 years of living on my own and raising my children in and out of poverty.

By the time you get through this course, you will:

  • Know how to make simple repairs to your clothing to make it last longer
  • Create simple herbal medicines to help prevent sickness and heal injuries for you and your family
  • Be able to cook healthful meals for your family on a very small weekly budget
  • Be an expert at making your own cleaning products for insanely cheap
  • Know where and how to find materials, food, or ingredients for less money
  • Be grateful for what you do have and mindful of how to make the best out of your situation

You probably could dig up every single recipe, set of instructions, example, video, or list from the internet over time, like I did.  But I have everything you need compiled neatly in one place, so you can learn it all at once!

You can save a LOT of time, money, and even actually help the environment a bit if you follow these tips.  A little initial effort and investment to learn how to do these things will create habits in you for the rest of your life!  Our grandparents knew how to live frugally out of necessity; you’re following in their footsteps now and will thank yourself for it later!

One of the most important things this course will give you is a foundation of Foods to live on; a basic list of pantry staples and grocery items you can buy to make the absolute most out of what little you have in your shopping budget.  You want to feed your family healthy meals because keeping yourselves healthy keeps you out of the doctor’s office or weekend emergency rooms and avoids a hefty medical bill you know you can’t afford.  This course was inspired by the success of my blog post: How To Eat When You’re Poor.

I’ll also share a few simple herbal remedies you can make at home to treat common ailments you or you kids might pick up.  These will only include easy-to-find or super cheap to grow yourself herbs.  Wild medicine doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg!
