LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

Only a physician can diagnose, treat, and prescribe for illness or disease. I neither diagnose nor treat disease. Nor do I prescribe remedies.

The human body has the innate power to heal itself. The role of the herbalist in this healing process is to consider the client as a whole person and to consult with the client concerning changes in lifestyle, diet, and supplementation of herbs and/or vitamins to foster an increased state of balance and health.

I encourage and advise customers to seek professional medical advice regarding any illness or disease they are suffering from. You are responsible for consulting a medical professional before trying any herbal additions to your diet or self care routine.

If you suspect you have a serious medical condition and you receive a diagnosis from a physician, I may be able to help you work on supporting your body’s natural healing systems from that point. The simpler the condition, the easier it is to find a solution. The more complicated the condition, the greater the need there is to seek expert advice. If I see you and suspect you may have a condition I cannot help you with, I will strongly suggest you see a medical doctor.

Although unfavorable interactions between herbs and drugs are sometimes publicized, confirmed cases are rare. It is the responsibility of the client to divulge medications and to seek advice from their physician if they fear an herb-drug interaction.

While topical remedies are generally regarded as safe, the skin is the largest organ in the human body and absorbs anything you rub on it.  Any herbs, salves, infusion blends, or tinctures you purchase from Black Sun Farm are used in or on your body at your own risk.

Black Sun Farm, in an effort to prevent more waste from clogging the planet, reuses appropriately-sized glass and heavy plastic containers after they are thoroughly washed and sanitized in boiling water. Please respect our desire to reduce the amount of trash we are putting into the environment, and feel free to donate your containers for reuse.
